MICHAEL O. CALLAHAN, age 52, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Michael was born February 12, 1961 in Peoria, Illinois, the fifth child of James & Harriet Callahan. On December 12, 1987 Michael was united in marriage to Linda Martin. He was employed by various railroads but at the time of his death he was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. Michael loved the outdoors and his favorite teams were the Chicago Bears and the St. Louis Cardinals.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Callahan of Hobart, 2 brothers, Ronald (Dee) Callahan of Peoria and William (Janet) Callahan of Brimfield, IL, 2 sisters, Dawn Gaylord of Montrose, IA and Tina (Terry) Gibson of Argyle, IA, 8 nephews & nieces and 5 grandnieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James & Harriet Callahan.
