MICHAEL A. LUTTRELL "BIG TOP", age 62, of Lake Station, went to be with the Lord on Friday, September 17, 2010 at home surrounded by his loving family. Michael fought a short, hard battle with cancer and retired from Bethlehem Steel in 2007 after working there since 1970. Michael loved to be with his family especially his grandchildren who were his pride & joy. He was preceded in death by his father, Froman Luttrell and also his dear loving mother, Rosalie Eagans, whom he was very close to.
He leaves behind his loving children, Ida M. (Gerry) Poole of Portage, Michael F. (Jeanne) Luttrell of LaPorte and Jackie Luttrell of Solsberry, IN, ex-wife, Cynthia L. Luttrell and his only sister, Evelyn Terrell. He has three very loving grandchildren who think the world of him, Jazmynne Clarissa Vawter of Portage, Skylar Allen Heckman of Solsberry, IN and Autie Rose Poole of Portage. He has many loving and caring friends who will miss him as well. Our Dad has gone to be with the Lord; no more pain, no more suffering. One day Dad we will all be together again ! R.I.P. Dad, you will be missed by us all.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, with Pastor John Allen officiating.
