Obituary
MICHAEL W. McKINNEY, age 60, of Lake Station, passed away Sunday, April 12, 2015. He was born on July 10, 1954 in Owensboro, KY. Michael was a longtime area resident and had worked as a contractor for many years. He will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his brothers, Richard (Dorothy) MacKenzie, Jeff (Cheryl) McKinney, and Danny (Connie) McKinney; 2 sisters, Kathern (Jack) Stafford, Mary Jo (Melvin, Jr.) Gaskins; 2 daughters, Alyssa Wivoyay and Amy (Damon) Kersey; stepfather, John (Sharon) MacKenzie; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna MacKenzie; father, Charles McKinney; and brother, Chuck McKinney.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 16, 2015 from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station, (219) 962-1606.
