Michael Napier, age 48, of Portage, Indiana and formerly of Hazard, Kentucky passed away Monday February 26, 2018 at his residence.  Michael was born March 15, 1969 in Hazard, KY.  He was a truck driver working for CWS Dedicated Services.  Michael was a loving father, son and brother. He loved fishing and had an amazing sense of humor.

Michael is survived by three children, Krista Napier, Michael Napier and Ethen Napier; two grandchildren, Isabella Estrada and Johan Caracheo-Napier; his mother, Sherry (James) Bindas; brother, Jerry (Cheryl) Napier; two sisters, Tiffany Trajkoski and Angela Cleveland; three nieces, Addison Trajkoski , Alexis and Tatum Clevland .

He was preceded in death by his parents Alonzo and Jean (Brummett) Napier.

A funeral service for Michael will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Bob Burton officaiting.  Cremation will follow.  Friends may gather with the family on Friday, March 9, 2018 from 1:00 pm until time of service at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.  For more information, please call 219-762-3013.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.reesfuneralhomes.com .
