Michael Senovic, Sr., age 87, a longtime resident of Valparaiso passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012. He was born on January 10, 2025 in East Chicago, Indiana the son of Steven and Helen Senovic. Michael was a United States Navy veteran. He was married to Edith Porter on May 3, 1947 in Crown Point. Michael worked as a photography salesman for Peter Pan Studios in Chicago and was well known by many families he served in the Lake County, Indiana. He was a member of A.A. and was proud of his 54 years of sobriety. He was well known as Picture Mike. He was very involved with his family.

Michael is survived by his loving family; wife Edith Senovic, Valparaiso, sons Michael (Linda) Senovic, Jr., Portage, Steven (Margie) Senovic, Arizona, Frank Senovic, Valparaiso, and Thomas Senovic, Portage, daughter Nadine (Kerry) Yasko, Portage, 9 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other loving family and dear friends. Michael was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson Ryan Senovic, his brother George Standish, sisters Zora Polk, Cecelia Pavolich, and Diana Bursha.
