Michael T. Wilson, age 65, of Hobart passed away Thursday April 2, 2015 at the St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Michael was born June 21, 1949 in Pineville, Kentucky to Calvin and Lucille (Boyd) Wilson. Michael was a highly decorated Vietnam Naval Era Naval retiree with 25 years of service. He also worked many years for AutoZone. Michael was an active member of the Hobart Church of Christ. Michael loved reading, tinkering with cars, and his little dog "Fifi". He loved his Lord and studying the bible.

Michael is survived by his loving wife Diane (Hanaway) Wilson of Hobart; his daughter Amy (Michael) Hendrickson of Hobart; his son Michael (Cindy) Wilson of Naples, Florida; his mother Lucille Wilson of South Haven; and his three grandchildren Devin, Isiah and James.

Michael was preceded in death by his father Calvin Wilson in 1996.

Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday April 8, 2015at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, IN 46342 with Minister Jerry Cleek officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation will be Tuesday April 7, 2015 from 2-8 pm at the funeral home.
