Michelle Miller of
Portage, Indiana,age 65, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Life Care Center in Valparaiso. She was born on November 12, 1949 in Gary, Indiana to the late Michael Flores and Wilma (Nee Alrod) Cox. Michelle was a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Above all she cherished the time she spent with her family. She was a member of Real Life Community Church in Portage.
Michelle is survived by her loving family, son, Jimmy Randall Brown of Kentucky; three daughters, Dawn M. (Terry) Parker of Georgia, Laura M. Daniel of Georgia and Chasity D. Matthews of Portage; two brothers, Michael (Mary) Flores of Plymouth, Kenny Flores of Knox; sister, Toni D. (Jeff) Morgan of Texas, five Half Siblings, two Step Sisters, 11 grandchildren, nine great- grandchildren and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Michelle will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, Indiana, 46368, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation will also be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 from 11:00 am until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, Portage.
