Michelle Lee Taylor

Michelle Lee Taylor (Bogdan), age 50, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, April 5, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1971 in Valparaiso, Indiana. Michelle was a 1989 graduate of Portage High School and will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Michelle loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Meagen Taylor, Kiersten Taylor and Brittany Taylor; grandson, William "Karter" Garcia; fiancé, Charles Emmet; brother, Joel (Monica) Bogdan; sister, Amanda (Alex) Yates Hurst; many half and step siblings; nephews, Joel Bogdan II, Joshua Bogdan, Mason Hurst; nieces, Katelyn Bogdan and Madyson Hurst.

Michelle was preceded in death by her parents, Florence and Thomas "Cotton" Yates.

A funeral service for Michelle will take place Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
