Mitchell Campbell

Mitchell Campbell, age 58, of Portage passed away in his home Friday September 23, 2022. Mitchell was born August 26, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois to Beacher and Callie (Miller) Campbell. He was an auto mechanic that was self-employed. Mitchell had two great loves in his life, his family and cars.

Mitchell is survived by his three children, Lauren (Eric) Murray of Portage, Brandon (Summer) Campbell of Portage, and Aaron (Jennifer) Campbell of Hazard, Kentucky; his mother, Callie Campbell of Chicago, Illinois; two children Mitchell helped to raise, Scott Jones and Amanda Pendleton; four grandchildren, Annalyne Campbell, Emilia Murray, Harper Campbell, and Benedict Moris; a sister, Linda Campbell of Chicago; and many friends and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his father, Beacher Campbell.

Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Thursday September 29, 2022, at Rees Funeral Home Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Calvary
