Morgan J. Solomon "Moe", age 49, of Portage passed away suddenly on Saturday May 3, 2014 at his home. Morgan was born August 5, 1964 in Gary, Indiana to the late Morgan A. and Eleanor A. (Krisko) Solomon. Morgan was an employee of the Portage Meijer Store. Morgan is a member of St. Michael Byzantine Church.   He was a former member of the Hobart JayCee's and an avid bowler.

Morgan was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter Megan.

He is survived by his loving wife Lisa McNally-Solomon of Portage; two sons Andrew Solomon and Nicholas Solomon both of Hobart, his daughter Tiffany (fiancée Dan) Solomon of Hobart; three step sons Stephen Bain of St. Petersburg, FL, Dan Bain of Indianapolis; and Joey Bain of West Lafayette, IN; one grandson Daniel; two brothers Michael (Linda) Solomon of Bourne, Massachusetts and Patrick (Cheryl) Solomon of Lake Station; two sisters Jayne (Ron) Metz of Coloma, Michigan and Jacqueline (Chris) McNabb of Blacksburg, Virginia; a God Daughter Erin Brown of Benton Harbor, Michigan; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2014 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel,
