IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Morris Everett
Nobles
May 21, 1943 – October 20, 2023
Morris Nobles, age 80, passed away Friday October 20, 2023 in Fort Wayne, Indiana. He was born May 21, 1943 in Gary, Indiana to the late Marshall and Matilda (Gabor) Nobles. He was a 1961 graduate of Portage High School. Morris spent his career as a machinist, auctioneer, and machinery appraiser. He was an avid Jitterbug dancer and fisherman.
Morris spent time writing poems after his heart transplant, which he received over twenty years ago in Fort Wayne, Indiana. His poems were read to heart transplant recipients at the annual transplant Christmas party, with the crowd favorite being "Twas the Night before Transplant". His heart transplant changed his life and gave him extra time with his family. He cherished the extra time that he was able to spend, with his companion of twenty-five years and the love of his life, Marsha J. Burner, who preceded him in death in April of 2022.
Morris had a zest for life in every way. He loved to laugh, joke, and have fun with friends and family. Most of all Morris was passionate about life and those he loved.
Morris is survived by his daughter, Debra (Doug) Davis of Frisco, Texas, his son, Morrison (Danielle Anderson) Agen of Fort Wayne, and his youngest daughter, Barbara (William) Martin of Bradenton, Florida. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Korrigan Agen of Chicago, IL and Addison Agen of Belmont, TN, and his siblings, Ann (Larry) Johnson of Centerville, OH, his twin sister, Mary Nobles of Valparaiso, IN, Michael (Linda) Nobles of Vero Beach, FL, Marsha (Duane) DeGaetano of Portage, IN, Betty Borhauer of Yakima, WA, Barbara (Jeff) Wunderlich of Chesterton, IN, and Allan (Patricka) Nobles of Tucurrique, Costa Rica, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Robert Nobles and James Nobles.
