N. Edward "Ed" Rogers

Noonan Edward "Ed" Rogers, age 87, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, November 7, 2016. He was born on May 3, 1929 in Fulton, Mississippi to the late Oscar and Minnie Rogers. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Korean War. Ed retired from US Steel where he worked as a Bricklayer.

He is survived by his son, David (Carol) Little; daughters, Peggy (Dan) Mock, Dena Shearer; 9 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Elzo, Billy, and Jimmy Rogers.

Ed was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosa Rogers; daughter, Margaret Zell; grandson, Michael; brothers, Chuck Griffin and Johnnie Rogers.

A funeral service for Ed will take place Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
