Nadia Nevaeh Huizar, age 5, of Portage, passed away Friday, May 8, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 28, 2009 in Hobart, Indiana.

Nadia is survived by her parents, Javier and Jill Huizar; brother, Nathan (Chela) Huizar; sisters, Ashley Huizar, Maria Huizar, Leticia Huizar; adoring grandmothers, uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Harold Brimmer; great grandmother, Sylvia Wall. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.

Visitation for Nadia will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. A funeral service for Nadia will take place Thursday, May 14, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father David Kime officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery.
