Naomi Feezor, age 84, of Portage, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014. She was born in Danville, Illinois on December 30, 1929 to the late Charles and Daisy Whitington. Naomi was self-employed as an Avon Saleswoman. She received Avon's award for one million dollars in sales and was recognized many times for excellence including winning trips to Hawaii and other destinations. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Naomi is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Lee) Fortner; son, Steven C. (Linda) Feezor; grandchildren, Jamie Doll, Deliverance (Josh) Bougie and Stephen Feezor; great grandchildren, Billy (Leighan) Doll and Brittany Doll; brothers, Russell (Linda) Whitington, Jim Whitington and Bill (Pat) Hosch; sisters, Atha (Mike) Devine and Bobbie Jo White.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Feezor Jr.; parents, Charles and Daisy Whitington; brothers, Gary, Terry, Larry, Ronnie, Danny, Charles, Ralph and Johnny Whitington.
A funeral service for Naomi will take place Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with Pastors Chuck and Minnie Munsell officiating. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park, 3815 West 39th Avenue, Hobart. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 31, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the funeral home.
