Age 91, passed away Monday, December 23, 2013. Naomi was born December 27, 1921 to Moses and Polly F. (nee Travis) Patton in Frances, Kentucky. She was a member of Eastern Star and White Shrine . She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her loving children, son, Timothy (Barbara) Ward of Portage, daughter, Darlene Ward of Noblesville,Indiana, three grandchildren, Justin, Tracy and Genna, three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cooper, Callen, many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Newton Ward, her parents, six siblings, Collin and Carlton Patton, Gladys Harris, Velda Turley, Dukelea Brown and Puella Brasher.
Visitation for Naomi will be held Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana, 46342. Burial will be at Frances Cemetery in Frances, Kentucky. Additional visitation will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2013 from 3-8 pm at Boyd Funeral Home 212 East Main, Salem, Kentucky, 42078.Funeral Service will be Monday, December 30, 2013 at 11 am.
