Nellie M. Snider, age 94, of Lake Station passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center.  She was born December 13, 1922 in Willow Hill, Illinois to the late Issac and Hazel (nee Eaton) Loving.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend.

Nellie is survived by her two daughters, Gloria Geiselman and Pamela (Scott) Jeffress; four grandchildren, Lisa (Mike), Daniel, Michael and Jeanna (Dave); eight great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Red (Joann) and John; two sisters, Betty and Sarah; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family and friends.

Nellie was preceded in death by loving husband, Clyde Snider, daughter, Judy M. Russell; her parents, four brothers, Charles Bill, George and Paul and sister, Nora; son-in-law, Harold "Pudge" Geiselman.

A funeral service for Nellie will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial at Calumet Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 16, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel. 219-942-2109
