Noreen Hughes

Noreen Hughes, age 56, of Portage passed away Tuesday November 5, 2024, at the University of Chicago Hospitals. She was born April 3, 1968, in Staten Island, NY to the late Richard and Barbara Muth. Noreen was a Homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be missed deeply by her family.

Noreen is survived by her husband, Kevin Hughes of Portage; four children, Kevin Hughes, Barbara Hess both of Portage, Jeramie (Emily) Hughes of Chesterton, and Al; seven grandchildren, Damien, Michael, Henry, Alice, Laura, Ezekial, and Dexter; two sisters and a brother, Anna, Lisa, and Richie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and son, Steven.

A memorial visitation for Noreen will be held Monday, November 25, 2024 from 5:00 - 7:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana 46368.
