Norma Jean Bennett, age 85 of Lakes of the Four Seasons passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at home. She was born on February 1, 1937 in Medaryville to the late Clinton and Frances Sanders. Norma was a former member of the Lakes of the Four Seasons Ladies Golf Association and she enjoyed participating in activities with the LOFS Keenagers. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family and will always be remembered for the joy she shared with them.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Jim Vereb) Canzoneri, Renee (Michael Lachowicz) Russell; son, James (Arica) Bennett; grandchildren, Jennifer Marlatt, Weylin Sanders, Chuck Canzoneri, Jr., Carly Russell, Jessica Russell, Lindsey Bennett, Trevor Bennett; many great grandchildren who lovingly called her "GiGi"; brother, Patrick (Judy) Sanders; sister, Joanne Luken.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Bennett; son, Gary Keith Sanders; parents, Clinton and Frances Sanders; and 10 brothers and sisters.

A funeral service for Norma will take place Friday, March 4, 2022 at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph St. Crown Point, IN 46307.  Visitation will be held Friday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.  For more information please call (219) 661-2600.
