Norma Jeanne Heck, age 92, of Portage passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022, in Chesterton. Norma was born January 20,1930, in Gary, IN to the late Edward and Estella (Kacicyak) Crowley. She worked for Sears Roebuck in the receiving department for 10 yrs. Norma was very thrifty, she made it a priority for her and Kenneth to give their five children a family vacation each year. Norma loved hosting Christmas Eve dinner, playing canasta, traveling with her girlfriends and being a good neighbor. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, reading, and cross stitch.  Norma will be remembered as a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. Norma is survived by her five children, Keith C. Heck, Terry Hudson, Deborah Loverich, Karen Wilmoski and Paula (Kenneth) Reveal; grandchildren, Corey (Wendy) Schnarr, Aaron (Ari) Schnarr, Stefania (Peter) Charpentier, Keith (Edith) Crowley Heck II, and Conrad (Maggie) Wilmoski, Shaun and Jeffery Reveal; great grandchildren, Kristopher Burns, Kayla (Matt) Lenartowicz and Kaydie (Andrew) Stalbaum, Elijah, Gavin and Sawyer Schnarr, Tyler, Alesandra, Edward and Elizabeth Charpentier, Jordon and Skylar Wilmoski, Chance (Alyla) Lucas; four great-great-grandsons, Liam, Bryant, Skyler and Maverick Stalbaum, and other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth K. Heck, grandsons, Greg and Matthew Wilmoski, her parents, Edward and Estella Crowley, sister, Patricia Aiken, daughter-in-law, Brenda Heck, two sons-in-law, Ronald Loverich and Pete Hudson. Visitation will be from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368. Funeral services will follow at 5:00 p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
