Norma Lee King, age 93 of Crown Point, Indiana passed away Monday, January 2, 2023.  She was born on June 27, 1929 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Hoyt and Louise Cress.  She married the late George King on November 1, 1947.  Norma was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart. She was a Homemaker who had won numerous awards for crafts and sewing.

She is survived by one son, Dennis D. (Josephine) King of Valparaiso, IN; five grandchildren, Ginger (Steve) Langlois, Vicki Mitchell, Dennis J. (Beth) King, Theresa King,  Logan Zacharias, great-grandchildren, Bryson King, Addison King, Leon (Amanda) Hein, Shawna (Chris) Tutt, Andrew Hein Sr., Samantha Hein, great-great-grandchildren, Ammerie Hein, Andrew Hein Jr., Jayden Hein, Kaiden Hein, Paul Tutt, Nevaeh Hein, Troy Tutt, Aiden Hein, Evelyn Tutt, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George King, one daughter, Bonnie J. Hein, and one brother, Dean Cress.

Funeral services are Monday, January 9, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev.
