Norma N. Runions, age 57 of Hobart passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013. She was born on April 3, 1956 in Gary, Indiana. Norma was a graduate of Wirt High School, Class of 1974. She was a member of the Hilltop Church of Christ in Valparaiso.

She is survived by her mother, Betsy Runions of Portage, IN; 2 sisters, Anita Runions of Portage, IN; Diane (Jim) Gedda of Crown Point, IN; 1 niece, Alexis Gedda, 2 nephews, Jimmy and Scott Gedda, 1 great-niece, Madison, special aunt, Linda "Peewee" Lyle, special friend, Joe, and several loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Norman Runions.

Funeral services are Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Brother Marvin Maupin officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Visitation is Tuesday, June 18, 2013 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
