Norma J. Sherrow

Norma J. Sherrow (nee Sutherland), age 93 a longtime Hobart resident passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025.  She was born on October 5, 1931 in Tiny, Virginia to the late Noah and Phoebe Sutherland. She was a 70 year member of the Hobart Assembly of God and was also a member of the Maria Reiner Senior Center in Hobart.  She enjoyed painting and drawing in her spare time.  Norma's family was very important to her and she loved them dearly.

She is survived by three children, Christopher (Lynn) Sherrow of Indianapolis, IN; Russell (Pat) Sherrow of Hobart, IN; Donna (Ron) Fuller of Hobart, IN; two sisters, June and Ann, nine grandchildren, Korry, Lia, Misty, Michelle, Josiah, Bryan, Josh, Emilee, and Kaleb, twenty great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert, and 11 brothers and sisters.

Funeral services are Thursday, March 13, 2025, at the Hobart Assembly of God, 7545 E. Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Ryan McDowell officiating.  Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.  Visitation is Thursday, March 13, 2025, just prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hobart Assembly of God.  Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel completed arrangements.  (219) 942-2109.
