Norman Clark Kenniger (Buzz), age 91, of Valparaiso, IN was called to heaven on February 28th 2026. He was born January 9th 1935 in Gary IN. To parents Vernon and Lucille (Clark) Kenniger. Buzz had two sisters Verna Mae (Louis) Hill and Doris (Gene) Edwards (deceased). Buzz was a Hobart Graduate. He married the love of his life, Betty Jean Stanley. The couple were long time residents of Hobart, where they raised three beloved children, Steven C. Kenniger, Susan J. (John) Boyd, Barbara A. (Gary) Green. He had a passion for fishing, camping and everything automotive. Buzz was a life long auto body mechanic and jack of all trades. He was an avid boater, angler, camper and nascar fan. Belonging to Family motor Coach Club, Hoosier Cruisers, Good Sam's, Miller Izaak Walton, Salmon Unlimited and Hoosier Coho Club. Buzz and Betty would retire to travel the country in their motor home and visited many national parks and campgrounds. Also frequenting Florida in the winters. He is survived by his five grandchildren Jonathon A. Boyd, Joseph E. Boyd, Elizabeth M. Green, Nathan B. Green and Andrew C. Green, whom he Loved and adored.
Memorial services are Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Charles Strietelmeier officiating. Burial of cremains will follow at Hobart Cemetery. Memorial visitation is Saturday, March 28, 2026 ju8st prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
