Olga Arnold

Age 90, Passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Sterling House Nursing Home in Portage.

Olga was born on December 21, 1923 to the late Vincent and Francis (nee Magetta) in Gary, Indiana. She was retired after working 42 yrs. at NIPSCO. Olga graduated in 1942 from Lew Wallace High School in Gary, Indiana. She married the love of her life Robert Lloyd Arnold in Kouts, Indiana on July 31, 1965. She will be dearly missed.

Olga is survived by her loving family, sister Vieslava Waldorph, nephews David Hershey of Arizona, Dr. Howard (Dr. Margie) Hershey of Bloomington, niece Joanne (Greg) Yonan of Chicago, numerous great nieces and one great nephew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, niece Ruth Waldorph and Brother-in-law William Waldorph.

A funeral service for Olga will be held Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 12:00 PM at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana. Visitation will also be held on Saturday, January 25, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until time of service.
