Olive Evelyn Shinabarger, age 82 of Hobart passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. She was born on December 1, 1941, in County Antrim in Northern Ireland to the late Noel and Thomasena Wright. She spent her younger years moving to many different countries before finally settling in the United States. On June 20, 1964, she married Richard Shinabarger in Hobart, Indiana and together they raised four children. She was a talented quilter, she loved her herb garden, and she enjoyed cooking and baking. She made a lot of memories of primitive camping and doing reenactments with her camping family when her children were young. As an avid animal lover, she always had many different pets. For the last twenty years, she dedicated her time to rescuing Pugs. She will always be remembered as a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Richard Shinabarger; triplet daughters, Kelly Shinabarger, Karen Thole, Erin Shinabarger; son, Ethan Shinabarger; grandchildren, Abigail Shinabarger, Eve Shinabarger, Ian Shinabarger, Lily Thole and Leo Thole; and one great granddaughter, Annalise Shinabarger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noel and Thomasena Wright; and daughter in law, Heather Shinabarger.
