Omer B. Delorme

Omer B. Delorme, age 85 of Lake Station passed away Friday, January 8, 2021. He was born on September 9, 1935 in Cornwall Ontario, Canada to Henry and Corine Delorme. On June 4, 1960, he married Lorna Jodoin. He retired from Republic Steel where he worked for 26 years. Omer was a dedicated member of St. Francis Xavier Church and a volunteer at the Bonner Senior Center.

Omer is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Lorna Delorme; son, Thomas (Ruth Ann) Delorme; daughter, Denise (Raul Otano) Delorme-Otano; four grandchildren; Elizabeth (Allen) Mansfield, Zachary (Jessica) Delorme, Brittany (Chris) Patillo, Jonathan Otano; and four great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Corine Delorme; brothers, Michael Quenneville and Maurice Delorme; sisters, Jeannine Bruyer and Lorrain Samson. Memorial contributions in Omer's name may be made to the St. Francis Xavier Altar and Rosary Sodality.

Visitation for Omer will be held Wednesday, January 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station.  Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, 2447 Putnam Street, Lake Station with prayers starting at the funeral home at 9:45 am.
