OSCAR "Til" HUFFMAN, age 99, of Hobart, was born on September 15, 1913 in Terre Haute, IN. He was a member of the Assembly of God and lived half his life in Hobart. He went home to be with the Lord on October 19, 2012, peacefully in his home and in his sleep. He lived a wonderful life full of love and laughter. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He loved to bowl and shoot pool for fun. He was gentle, kind, and loving man and he was loved and admired by many. He now has been reunited with his family and friends in heaven.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mattie (nee Blackburn) and John Huffman; daughters, Sharon Huffman, Mary Lou Jacob; wife, Thelma Huffman.

He is survived by daughter, Anna Huffman Williams and Husband, Tom; grandchildren, Mary Ann (Bill) Meadows, Samantha Gasper, Oscar Jacob; great grandchildren, Michael, Hanna, Aaron, Cierra, Raina and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be truly missed.

A funeral service for Oscar will be Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Pastor Ryan McDowell.
