Pamela A. Drapac, age 71, passed away suddenly on Wednesday September 25, 2024, at her home in Merrillville. She was born July 30, 1953, in Gary, Indiana to the late Stephen and Pauline (Uskert) Drapac. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Station. Her faith and relationship with her Lord were very important to her. She loved to pray. She enjoyed gardening, baking, Bird watching, and oil painting. She loved watching the fireworks on the 4th of July. Most of all she loved her family, they were everything to her.
Pamela is survived by three brothers, Thomas (Lynn) Drapac, Mark (Sara) Drapac, and James (Julie) Drapac; three sisters, Christine (Terrence) Zgorka, Cynthia (Daniel Hirsch) Drapac, and Stephanie Drapac; fourteen nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Michella, Samantha, Julia, Diana, Emerson, David, Anderson, Martha, Esther, Trevor, Nicole, Angela, and Adam; four great nieces and a great nephew; and many other dear friends and family members.
Pamela was preceded in death by her parents, Stephen and Pauline.
Visitation for Pamela will be Sunday September 29, 2024, at the Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368 from 4-8 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, September 30, 2024 starting with 10:15 prayers at the Funeral Home and then processing to St Francis Xavier Catholic Church 2447 Putnam St. Lake Station, Indiana 46405 for an 11:00 am mass where Rev Jaime Perea will be the Celebrant. Private Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery on Wednesday.
In lieu of flowers memorial gifts should be directed to the Epilepsy Foundation.
