Pamela Sheryl Parsley, age 53, a resident of Valparaiso, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2012. She was born on April 27, 1958 in Greensboro, North Carolina, the daughter of Howard Bellow Sr. and Shirley Slider. Pam was a faithful member of Bible Baptist Church. She loved to read, listen to music, and enjoyed shopping. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and a friend to all.

Pam is survived by her loving family; son Christopher Parsley, Valparaiso, daughters Erica (Kevin) Shaw, El Paso, Texas, Nicole Braden, Chicago, grandchildren Raina, Andrew, Sierra, Kaitlin, J.J., and Tailin, mother Shirley Slider, Lake Station, brothers Howard (Peggy) Bellow, Jr., Asheboro, North Carolina, and Greg (Joni) Bellow, Lake Station, special friend Rich Antonvich, very close aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews, and other loving family and dear friends.

A visitation for Pamela Parsley will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A morning visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, February 27, 2012, directly at Bible Baptist Church, 6659 U.S. Highway 6, Portage. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am at Bible Baptist with Pastor Don Good, officiating. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville.
