Pamela Rae Yetsko (Nee Bliss)

Pamela Rae Yetsko (Nee Bliss), age 69, of Portage passed away Wednesday July 3, 2024, at Northwest Health Porter in Valparaiso. Pam was born July 8, 1954, in Gary, Indiana to the late Raymond E. and Hilda M. (Leath) Bliss. She retired from Lakeshore Bone and Joint Institute with over twenty years of service as a Switchboard Operator Receptionist. Pamela loved spending time with her family and will be deeply missed. She loved her butterfly garden, cross stitch, and collecting teacups.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, James Yetsko of Portage; her son, David (Amy) Crook of Portage; her daughter, Kathryn (William Lundy) Crook of Chandler, Arizona; her two grandchildren, Andrew Skalku and Joni (Marcus) Rainwater; her two step grandchildren, Paul Johannaber and Megan Sliwinski; two brothers, Eric (Jerri) Bliss of Chesterton, and Roy (Cheryl) Leath of Portage; two sisters, Julie (Skip) Fitzgerald of Westville, and Laura Ancell of Portage; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Hilda "Connie" Bliss; and her daughter, Sandra Kraft.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 pm Tuesday July 9, 2024, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368, with Pastor Ben Nagle officiating. Memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 until the time of service at 5:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
