Patricia A Benson

Patricia Anne Benson, age 91 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017. She was born in Whiting, Indiana on February 12, 1926 to the late C.L. and Sarah Lancaster. Pat worked as a nurse in the Gary hospitals and retired after 28 years. She was a member of the New Life ConnectPoint church of Laporte. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, knitting and crocheting.

She is survived by one son, Larry (Carla) Benson of Aurora, CO; three daughters, Beverly Troumouliaris of Hobart, IN; Sharee (Louis) Funk of Hobart, IN; Sally (John) Odenheimer of Centennial, CO; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Patrick Benson, one brother, Ned (Evelyn) Lancaster, and one sister, Marcella (Alan) Burrell.

Funeral services are Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 6 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Randy Duncan officiating.
