PATRICIA C. BOLES, age 73, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012. She was born in Eolio, Missouri on October 29, 1938 to William and Ella Marie Walter. Patricia was a Republican Party Precinct Chairwoman and poll worker for many years. She retired from the Indiana Toll Road and was a substitute teacher for many years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge of Whiting and the Red Hat Society. Patricia was a woman of generous spirit who loved taking care of her family and tending to her flowers. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Lake Station.

Patricia is survived by her 3 stepsons, James (Mary) Boles of Remington, and William (Carolyn) Boles of Elkhart; Michael (Missy) Growchowski of LaPorte; 11 step grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett in 1991; son Bryan Boles; stepdaughter, Judith P. Hammon and grandson, James Boles, Jr.; 2 brothers, Billy Walter and Marvin Walter; 2 sisters, Virginia Christopher and Mitzy Higgins.

A funeral service for Patricia will be Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave., Lake Station, with visitation just prior from 12:00 p.m. until time of service.
