Patricia Ann Campano

Patricia Ann Campano, age 76, of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away Thursday October 23, 2025, at the University of Chicago Hospital. Patricia was born August 13, 1949, in Gary, Indiana to the late Salvatore "Sam" and Emily (Peksenak) Campano. She was a steelworker that retired from Midwest Steel-U S Steel. Patricia was a former member of the VFW Auxiliary. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Hobart Alumni Association. Patricia loved antiquing and attending the Feast of the Hunters' Moon with her friends and family.

She is survived by her children, Matthew S. (Kelly Preuss) Lopez of Chesterton, and Anna M. (Kevin Senovic) Lopez of Valparaiso; her four grandchildren, Joseph K. (Kota) Lopez, Michael R. (Erin) Lopez, Emma A. (Thad Kraska) Lopez, and Mia J.A. Jakich; a great grandchild MaxxLynn Lopez; her brother, Joseph A. (Patti) Campano of Brownsburg; her nephew, Zachary (Kim) Campano; her niece, Jennifer (David) Costa; and five great nephews and nieces, Gemma, Rocco, Luca, Gianna, and Stella Campano.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Samuel Campano, and her beloved canine companion, Lady Anna Bella Prema.

Visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025, at 11 am with service beginning at 1 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Cremation will follow. In lieu of flowers a monetary donation to the family is appreciated.
