Patricia D. Caywood, age 70, of Portage went to be with her heavenly Father on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Patricia was born in Oxfordshire, England on March 20, 1943. She married David Caywood on December 29, 1962 who was stationed in the USAF. She came to the United States with her husband in February 1963. Patricia was a member of Portage Missionary Baptist Church for 33 years and taught Sunday School for 12 years. She was also a member of the Bonner Senior Center where she had many friends.

Patricia is survived by her husband of 50 years, David, Sr., daughter, April Terry of Hobart, IN; son, David (Krysten) Caywood, Jr. of Avon, CT; 3 precious grandchildren, Nathan Uldricks of Arlington, VA; twins Delaney and Beckett Caywood of Avon, CT; sister, Yvonne (Richard) Gunning of Oxfordshire, England, 2 wonderful sisters-in-law, Beverley (Robert) Caywood and Rebecca (Thomas) Bartholomew, and many nieces and nephews, special great niece, Emily (Thomas) Ward and her faithful old cat, Simba.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at 11 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with Rev. Cornell Smith and Pastor Mitchell Tabla officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville, Indiana. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
