Patricia L. Dixon, age 81, of Hobart passed away Monday August 25, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Patricia was born March 25, 1933 in Gary, Indiana to the late Joseph and Helen (Newton) Collins. She was a lifelong area resident, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Roy; she is also survived by her son Kent (Sharon) Dixon of Valparaiso; two grandchildren Michele (Chad) Arndt of Westfield and Dennis Dixon of Greenwood; and her great granddaughter Tinley Arndt.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Thursday August 28, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana. Private committal services will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be from 11:00 am till the time of services at 1:00 pm at the funeral home.
