Patricia Ann Guzman, age 65, of Lake Station passed away Wednesday July 18, 2012 at the St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. She was born August 6, 1946 in Greenup, Illinois to the late Harry and Roselee (Darling) Metzler. Patricia was a homemaker and loved caring for people.
Patricia is survived by her loving husband Alejandro Guzman of Lake Station, two sons Antonio and David Guzman of Lake Station, two daughters-in-law Deanna Shell-Forton and Anna Guzman-Smith both of Portage, two brothers Eddie (Linda) Metzler of LaPorte and Brad (Sally) Metzler of Hobart, eleven grandchildren Randy R., Brittney, Brandie, Breanna, Kayla, Jonathon, Gregory, Kyrah, Samantha, Lanea , and Emilio, two great grandchildren Bentley and Siddalee, and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two sons Ronnie Shell and Randy Shell.
Visitation will be held Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 9-11 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, Indiana. Funeral services will be 11 am Saturday July 21, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel with Rev. Jerry P. Martin officiating. Cremation will follow services.
