Patricia Ann Joseph

Patricia Ann Joseph, age 75, of Gary passed away Sunday June 11, 2023, at St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Patricia was born January 19, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio to the late Merida F. and Ruth (Jones) Cotton. She loved her church and baking. Patricia was a member of the Little Ellen Old Regular Baptist Church in Alsip, Illinois.

Patricia is survived by five children, Rudy (Nicole) Djordjevich of Hobart, Draginja "Dorothy' Barbour of North Carolina, Jelena "Helen" Djordjevich of Gary, Danny (Crystal) Djordjevich of Dallas, GA, and Maria (John) Casey of Florida; sixteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers and sisters, Leoma Daniels of South Carolina, Marcella Kitchen of Lake Station, and Thomas Cotton of Chesterton.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents Merida and Ruth; one brother, James Cotton, and one sister, Frances Leyba.

Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Wednesday June 14, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue. Her funeral service will follow immediately at 12 noon at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery.
