Patricia A Kelly, age 84, a longtime Illinois resident and 6yr. Crown Point resident passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Patricia was born December 11, 1928 in Harvey, Illinois to Albert and Annette (nee Roos) Riemerits. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Winfield. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend.
Patricia is survived by her loving family: son, Dan (May DeViney) Kelly of Chelmsford, Massachusetts; daughter, Peggy (Robert) Smith of Crown Point; 6 grandchildren, Paul Christofanelli, Peter Christofanelli, Erin (John) Dal Santo, Patrick DeKelly, Emily DeKelly and Cynthia DeViney; 1 great grandson, Frank Dal Santo; brother, Bud (Adele) Riemerits.
She was preceded in death by her husband Michael Kelly.
Funeral services for Patricia will be Wednesday, May 29, 2013 beginning with 9:30 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph St., Winfield/Crown Point, IN and will proceed to Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 7667 E. 109th Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307, for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Thomas E. Mischler, officiating. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery in Glenwood, IL.
