Patricia J. McKain,
age 87, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011 at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart. Patricia was born on March 20, 1924 the daughter of the late Fred and Winifred Grange in London, England. Patricia served in the Royal Air force. She was a Portage resident for 60 yrs. and was a member of the American Legion Post 260 Ladies Auxiliary. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She is survived by her loving family 2 sons; Theodore (Genevieve) McKain of Brownsburg, Indiana, and Thomas (Peggy) McKain of Porter, Indiana, 3 grandchildren; Robert (Gaye) McKain, Brian (Holley) McKain, Kurt McKain, 2 great-grandchildren, and brother Fredrick Grange of Frodsham, England.She is preceded in death by her parents, a sister and her loving husband Robert McKain.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, December 20,2011 at 10:00 am directly at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Road, Portage. A visitation for Patricia McKain will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 pm with a 7:00 pm Ladies Auxiliary Service on Monday, December 19,2011 at Rees Funeral Home-Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
