Patricia Jane Moore, age 77, of Valparaiso, passed away Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Porter Regional Hospital. She was born in Portage, Indiana on November 28, 1939 to the late James Van and Gladys Irene (nee Matherly) Huff. She loved feeding the birds and working in her flower garden. Patricia will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother who put everyone's needs above her own.

Patricia is survived by sons, David (Penny) Moore, Roy (Zeny) Moore; daughter, Sandra (Daniel) Pedone; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amie) Pedone, Daniel (Kayla) Pedone, Meranda (Alex) Maldonado, David James Moore, Kylie Moore, Johnny Taylor, Jessica Taylor; great grandchildren, Anthony Taylor, Rhys Pedone; and sisters, Cathy Culp, Nancy Rush.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Susan Taylor; sister, Joann Novak; and brothers, James Huff, Johnny Huff.

A memorial service for Patricia will take place Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
