Patricia J. (nee Markovich) Vasilko, age 74, of Hobart, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015 at home. She was born on October 6, 1940 in Hammond, Indiana to John and Ann Markovich. Patricia was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. She was currently employed as a cashier at Walmart, where she had worked for the past 22 years. In her free time, she enjoyed needlework, reading, puzzles, crafts and taking daytrips with friends from the Maria Reiner Senior Center. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandsons.

She is survived by son: Steven (Nanci) Vasilko; daughters: Cheryl (Steve) Kiraly, Tricia Blevins; grandchildren: Joshua Vasilko, Ethan Blevins, Jacob Blevins; sister: Diana (Tony) Keser; nephew: Zvonimir Keser.

She is preceded in death by her parents: John and Ann Markovich.

A funeral service for Patricia will take place Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Dominic Bertino officiating.
