Patricia "Pat" Watts (nee Wilding), age 76, of Valparaiso, IN and formerly of Navarre, FL, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023.

Pat was born on February 14, 1947 in South Bend, IN to the late James and Rose (nee Moss) Wilding.  She proudly worked for over 40 years as a Registered Nurse with Gary Methodist Hospital, Danville VA Medical Center in Danville, IL, and Baptist Hospital in Gulf Breeze, FL.  Pat was a Living Legend of the Baptist Hospital and a plaque was hung in her honor.  All of the nursing colleges knew of Pat and her dedication to her work and would often recommend her as a mentor for future nurses.

Pat was a very Godly woman who studied her bible and prayed for all of the people in her life daily.  She was the "head of the pack" and led her family each Thanksgiving in a circle prayer.  Pat adored all the generations of her family and was a very proud mother and "Momo" to all the grandchildren.  She loved to be in the pool and enjoyed fishing. Pat was a voracious reader and loved to cook for company. Pat liked to play BINGO and picked up playing poker in her later years.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Pat is survived by her children: Tammy, Jack (Mona), Melissa, and Joyce (Steve); a legacy of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even one great-great-granddaughter; siblings: Cathy (Mark), Richard (Linda), and John; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat is preceded in death by her parents: James and Rose; daughter: Pammy; and sisters: Terri and Barbara.

A Celebration of Pat's Life will take place in Florida at a later date.  Cremation and arrangements are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
