Patricia A. Westmoreland

Patricia A. Westmoreland, age 75, of Valparaiso, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016 at home. She was born on February 9, 1941 in Hammond, Indiana to the late Robert and Ethel Britton. She retired in 1999 from McGill Man in Valparaiso, where she worked in the electrical department. In her free time, Patty enjoyed going to flea markets, rummage sales, and shopping for antiques. She especially loved cats.

Patty is survived by her husband, Kenneth Westmoreland of Valparaiso; sons, Rick (Becky) Loving of Wheeler, Anthony (Theresa) Westmoreland of Portage; daughter, Debra Risner of Alabama; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and son, William "Bill" Loving Jr.

A funeral service for Patty will take place Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 4:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Dale Combs officiating. She will be laid to rest at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Visitation for Patty will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2016 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
