Paul Vincent Hanna, age 53, of Hobart, IN passed away on July 3, 2023.

Paul was born on November 5, 1969 in Gary, IN to William "Bill" and Carmen (nee Rodriguez) Hanna.  He was a good man and as he aged, he became even better.  Paul loved his family and cared for them in the best ways that he could.  Growing up, Paul and his family frequented Turkey Run State Park.  This sparked a love of nature and hiking and often went with his own children on spontaneous "nature hikes".  They loved to walk all in areas all over Northwest Indiana but no place was quite like the woods by his house.  He was very good at tending to bonfires, keeping them lit for hours and hours.  Paul was a HUGE Chicago Bears fan and loved to read books about history, especially Benjamin Franklin.  He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by those who knew him.

Paul is survived by his children: Emily Hanna, Paul Vincent Hanna, Jr.. and Seth D. (Julie) Hanna; mother: Carmen Hanna; grandchildren: Olivea, Avery, Grayson, Jessica, and Nathan; siblings: Bill (Ingrid) Hanna and Danielle (James) Clark; several nieces and nephews; wife: Denise Hanna; and good friends: Randy and Kelly Peak.

Paul is preceded in death by his father: Bill.

Cremation and arrangements are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.  A Celebration of Paul's Life will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at New Life Community Church (1 N Pennsylvania St., Hobart) at 12:00 P.M.
