PAUL M. JESELSKIS, age 72, of Valparaiso, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Porter Regional Hospital. He was born on February 26, 1943 to the late Paul E. and Hermina Jeselskis in Chicago. Paul had been resident of Valparaiso for 30 years coming from South Holland, IL. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church and the Banta Center. Paul loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Colette (nee Braud); 2 sons, Paul Jeselskis, Jr. of Michigan City and Mike (Kim) Jeselskis of Indianapolis; daughter, Margaret (Chad) Kollross; 2 grandchildren, Lily and Jacob Kollross; goddaughter, Debbie Tremblay of Watervliet, MI; 2 sisters, Mary Ann (Dan) Stanaker of AZ and Claire (Ermanno) Curatolo of Hammond; many nieces and nephews; and beloved dogs, Peanut and Butters.
Paul was also preceded in death by his son, Thomas Jeselskis; brother, Michael Jeselskis; and sister, Kathleen Woodbury.
Memorial contributions preferred to Anti-Cruelty Society.
A funeral mass for Paul will be Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1855 Harrison Blvd., Valparaiso, with Rev. Joe Pawlowski officiating. Burial will follow at Angelcrest Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, January 29, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., from 4:00-8:00 with a 6:00 p.m. prayer service.
