Paul Kuiper Jr.

Paul Kuiper Jr., 82, of Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away on May 1, 2026. Born in Holland, Paul built a life defined by hard work, skill, and dedication. He spent his career at Ford Motor Company as a tool repairman, where his mechanical expertise and strong work ethic were well respected. A structural man by nature, Paul was known for his ability to fix just about anything and his comfort with both tools and technology. He took great pride in his home and yard, and he especially enjoyed spending time tinkering in the garage—always working on a project or improving something with care and precision. Paul showed remarkable strength in his final days, putting up a good fight and remaining steadfast for his wife even while facing serious health challenges. He will be remembered for his resilience, his craftsmanship, and the quiet pride he carried in all he did.

He is survived by his son, Patrick (Jill) Kuiper; three granddaughters, Jade, Joslyn and Amanda; two sisters, Alice (Dave) and Betty.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary L. Kuiper, son, Paul Kuiper, his father, Paul Kuiper Sr., his mother, Grace Kuiper and two sisters, Ruth and Grace.
