Paul Edwin Nawrocki, age 69, of Portage, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene Nawrocki and Rosemary Greening and his adopted daughter, Tuesday Mentzer.

Upon graduating from high school, he joined the Army and served his country during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1971. After the Army he became a line mechanic at Kaiser Aluminum and retired after 32 years in 2003. In 2015, he moved to Valparaiso, Indiana. This is where he met his final love, Mary Draves. Paul enjoyed time with his new adopted family and loved to tell stories from his life on the family farm and his time during the service.

Paul is survived by his loving companion of 4 years, Mary Draves; his adopted family, Laurence (Jen) Draves, Larry (Julie) Draves; and 7 grandchildren. Paul will be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
