Pearl Laks

Pearl Laks, 89, of Portage, IN passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on August 22, 2019. She was born in New York to the late Sadie and Max Bergman. She also met & married the love of her life, Albert Laks, in New York, who preceded her in death on August 21, 2014. Pearl & Albert were married 65 years and raised their children in Chicago & Homewood, IL, later retiring in Sun City West, AZ.

Pearl is survived by her loving children Susan Laks Olsen and Stuart (Saylor) Laks and brother, Paul Bergman of Springfield, MA. She was also cherished by her grandchildren Jeremy (Patricia) Olsen, Phillip Laks and Kelsey (Frank) Nordaby; great grandchildren Matthew, Daniel, Stephanie, Jeremy Jr., Abigail and many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends. Before retiring, Pearl enjoyed working in sales for Carsons in Matteson, IL and Assessory Lady in AZ.
