Peggy McCoy Elliott, age 77, of Portage passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at her home. Peggy was born May 16, 1937 in Pikeville, Kentucky to the late Bill and Mabel McCoy. Peggy was a homemaker and loving mother and wife. She was an avid bowler. Peggy was very artistic and enjoyed working with ceramics and many other crafts. Most of all Peggy loved her family and her fur babies.

Peggy is survived by her husband Frank Elliott; her two daughters Tracy (Don) Lightfoot of Valparaiso and Toni Elliott of Winter Haven, Florida; three sisters-in-law Theresa Braun of Genoa, IL; Lynn (Larry) Hough of Midlothian, IL and Betty Elliott of Cedar Lake; and many nieces and nephews.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Nancy Robinson.

Memorial visitation will be held at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368 on Thursday May 14, 2015 from 2-7 pm. A memorial Service will be held at 7 pm on Thursday with Chaplain Craig Forwalter officiating. Her ashes will be interred at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery at a later date.
