Penny S. Sansone

Penny Sansone, age 62, of Portage, passed away Saturday, October 14, 2017.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on January 26, 1955 to the late Earl and Ruth (nee Quillen) Bellar.  Penny was on the board of the Portage Youth Basketball for many years and served as secretary of the organization as well.  She enjoyed sewing, bowling and playing bunco.  She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

Penny is survived by daughters, Heather (Tim) Sudlow, Holly (Adam Nelson) Sansone; son, Brad (Kandice Roark) Sansone; grandchildren, Trenton Sudlow, Grace Sudlow, Ciera Sansone, Xavier Ortiz, Heidi Sansone; brother, Wayne (Pat) Bellar; sisters, Donna Coldiron, Peggy Hurst, Nancy Norman, Pam (Jim) Fedyna, Carol (Dave) Anderson; former husbands, Dale Tarchala and Jim Sansone, Jr., special friends, Amy Knez, Carol Day, her bowling friends; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandson, Kaden Sudlow; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
